Hello all. Last night I finished the second to last edit of Obsidian Tiger: the Beginning. I’m going to run it through word one more time just to see if I missed anything and another app that checks for repetitive words and phrases just to clean it up a little more. But as of right now the final word count is 85,968 words including the prologue, 21 chapters (5 up from the original manuscript) and the epilogue.
I would like to find beta readers before I begin the self publishing process but if not I’m not too upset as I am confident in my writing and the story I’m telling. The next steps after the FINAL edit will be to clean up my synopsis just in case I ever want to query the project, creating an attention grabbing blurb and commissioning my cover art.
The book itself will be available in both hard copy and as an e-book. As soon as it’s ready I will put it up for pre-order. As of now the tentative release date is still July 15th. If something changes, you guys will be the first to know.
